Hi Felix
we are all well too. Our safari was great, it lived up to all
our expectations, it would have been nice maybe to have either
more time out on safari or to go out in the afternoon sometimes.
The elephants at Amboseli were by far my favourite, i could have
watched them for hours. Our wedding was just what we wanted, a
small affair, and we were well looked after by the hotel staff,
even up at the Ark. The places we stayed were great, food was
lovely. The hotel in Tsavo was just perfect. Can't wait to go on
another safari, maybe to Tanzania and South Africa? Thank you
for all your help with our safari and wedding, it was very
memorable, and still think about it all of the time. Look after
yourselves, and give our best wishes to George(the best guide we
could have had), maybe when we want another safari????we will be
in touch

Hi
Sardius Tours ,
We got back although we were exhausted. It was a very long two
flights and the layover in London was also long. Thank you
so much for the bag you gave me. It is beautiful and will be a
reminder of our time in Africa and the hospitality Kenya
extended to us. The cane (that is what we suppose it is) was
taken in Nairobi and checked on to Detroit. Unfortunately there
was a problem in London and they lost it. We are still hoping it
will be found but since it hasn't by this time, we may assume it
is lost. It was such a nice thought, however. We were so pleased
with the arrangements that were made for us in
Kenya. We had wonderful accommodations in Mara Springs
Camp outside of Masai Mara National Park. That was
probably our favorite place to stay and to visit.
The camp was clean and the people there were friendly.
We quickly learned the routines there so we could
eat, shower and get around with ease. Our guide
throughout Kenya was a fantastic driver who, although
very shy, was so knowledgeable about the wildlife
that we enjoyed all of the time with him. Our cook
prepared delicious meals and was so friendly and
helpful.
We took an extra excursion to a Masai village. The young man who
came to get us claimed to be the chief's son and told us all
about his impending marriage to a young woman from another
village whom he had never met. We learned so much on the tour of
the village and the surrounding area. We were only disturbed by
the suggestion (from the Masai himself) that we needed to send a
gift from the US to the young man in honor of his marriage. We
ignored his request.
Our stay in Lake Nakuru was short but enjoyable.
The room we stayed in was very basic and extremely
comfortable. Tsavo West, We loved the accommodations
there. The hotel was very nice, the food OK. The
views out our window and from our balcony were priceless!
Tsavo was the most beautiful park. It contained
mountainous terrain which was enjoyable to just
drive around in. Once again, our driver proved indispensable
in finding animals. The ride from Tsavo to Amboseli
was...exciting...you just had to be there to experience
the guard getting into our car, the 90 mph drive
through the mountainous road. We loved it!
Amboseli was a lovely camp. We stayed in a cabin in the lodge.
The room was great, the food was excellent and the staff were
friendly. We enjoyed seeing the animals on the game drives but,
again, we had seen everything when we were in Masai Mara.
We really appreciated the time you took with us to plan our
vacation, both in the U .S and when we were in Kenya. We had
such a wonderful time and have returned with many fond memories
of Kenya and our friends there. Thanks for for all you help and
attention. We would be glad to be a reference for anyone wishing
to book a trip with Sardius in the future.

Hi Felix,
We had a great holiday in East Africa. We spent the first week
in Mombasa under our own steam as my son was getting married
there. After six days we were picked up at the agreed time by
Mutuva (our guide-driver) at our hotel. We had planned the trip
with the help of Sardius tours (as I had lived in Kenya some 30
years ago so knew where we wanted to go etc)
The vehicle was perhaps a little older than I expected but was
reliable and we felt completely safe with Mutuva who was a
pleasure to be with - we always felt safe in his hands and he
was most knowledgeable about the game and areas we were
visiting. The roads are very poor and rough now in Kenya and
detract somewhat from the beauty of the country .Things don't go
as planned sometimes in Africa but I have to say that even when
the train didn't run for our return to Mombasa - Felix handled
the situation without any fuss and fixed up a flight and hotel
accommodation for us . The accommodation on safari was very good
although we have to say that the accommodation in the Masai Mara
(best game park) was the best by far and I would certainly
recommend it. We hope you enjoy your holiday to Kenya. It was
certainly an Adventure for us and very personal having our 'own
vehicle' and our own driver/guide. We felt quite sorry for lots
of the other visitors when we see them crowded into their buses
for their morning or evening safaris.

Dear
Mr Ndunda & Sardius Tours Crew
Our stay in Kenya was very nice, starting in Mombasa
and visiting the national parks of Masai Mara, Nakuru,
Samburu, Mt. Kenya, Amboseli and Tsavo west and
finishing again in Mombasa. We consider it was very
well organized by Sardius Tours; the drivers know
very well their work and they were always looking
for the best position to see the amazing animal
world that you have in Kenya. The food was great
although too much time in the car without movement
makes that we didn’t have so much hunger, we enjoyed
it very much. In general we are very satisfied and
thank you very much for you support and making our
lifetime dream become a reallity .
Best wishes

April 2007
I would like to say a big thank
you again for making my holiday a very enjoyable
one.
Thanks Felix for a very organised
& enjoyable holiday! I travelled from North
Wales on my own. Booking & payment was made
very easy due to efficient staff & excellent
response via email.
All transport was well organised & chaperoned.
I was met in Nanyuki by guide & cook for a 4
day trek up Mt Kenya via the Sirimon route. I was
well looked after by the guide who was very knowledgeable
about all aspects of Kenya, including wildlife &
flora.
On the other hand the cook gave me 3 courses for
breakfast, lunch & dinner so I couldn't possibly
loose weight, as the food was fresh & tasty!
I never once felt uncomfortable, as both made sure
I was ok especially on the last leg up to Pt Lenana,
when we had especially heavy snow & conditions
were bad.On return I was met again in Nanyuki by
Vincent.
I won't hesitate to book with you again.
Thanks again for a stress free holiday!
best wishes

Dear Sardius Tours & Safari
I am doing well and have been tied up with work.
The whole trip was great and thanks for taking care of us in a very organized and professional way. To be honest I was worried in sending you a wire transfer of 35% without knowing you and the rest even before we started our safari. The resorts in Masai Mara (great food and living accommodation- pusedo tent), Lake Nakaru (watch out for mosquitoes but the bed had a cool net that we liked) and Amboseli (great rooms/service but not so good food). I have recommended you to my coworkers and my brother so watch out for them. If anyone one wants recommendations please give them my email address below and I will be glad to help.

Felix [Sardius Tours]

[26th Sept-07 Oct 2007
Thank you Felix for a fantastic safari in Kenya. We really had a lifetime experience with our experienced driver/guide Bernart, who not only took us through the miles and miles of bumpy roads between parks (Samburu, Abadares, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and Amboselli) but seemed to know exactly how to find and get us to the best spots in each park. We were so close to the game that we could almost touch them. Your safari which had just the two of us in the seven passenger safari vehicle, let us move around, sit and stand whenever we wanted was a pleasure compared to the crowded vehicles we saw on the roads and in the parks. It also gave us great flexibility for where, when and how long we went on our game drives. The other guests that we met were amazed at how much we saw and how able Bernart was in getting us to the right places at the right time. (Big 5, Mara River migration crossing – twice, rare birds, big cats on the prowl and so much information about each of the animals) The lodge and tent accommodations went without a hitch, and thanks for the location of our rooms which were always close to the reception/dining areas.
We found you on the internet and compared your safaris with others offered by the high priced American travel agencies and other Kenyan operators. We checked references, affiliations and had many inquiries before making our choice. We are glad that we finally chose Sardius. What made our safari even more special was they way you customized our schedule to meet our needs, and the personal attention you gave once we arrived. We were glad that you personally met us at the airport, went over each detail, and gave us the little extras (including helping us set up our cell phone, the binoculars and much more). We told our friends about Sardius and would be most happy to recommend you anyone interested in one great safari."
Please keep in touch.

September
17th-1st October 2007
Dear Sardius Tours Staff:
As promised here is some feedback from our holiday which we
thoroughly enjoyed.
Intercontinental Hotel - Nairobi
This hotel was lovely and a great way to begin the holiday.
Highly recommended
Maasai Mara National Park
This park was probably the most exciting to visit due to the
vast range and quantity of animals on show. It was fantastic to
be able to drive around the plains and was a great
experience. The Mara Sarova was excellent, with friendly staff
and great facilities & food. I would happily stay there again.
Lake Nakura National Park
Although very different to the Maasai Mara, we both enjoyed this
park. The contrast to the Maasai Mara was very good and again we
were lucky with the animals we saw. Excellent opportunities to
see Rhinos. The Sarova Lion Lodge again was very good. Not quite
as nice as the Mara Sarova, but once again excellent food and a
very good choice.
Porini Camp, Amboseli National Park / Selenkay Conservancy
Again, a very different experience to the previous parks and
lodges. We loved the difference and being in the middle of
nowhere was a great experience. Visiting the National Park at
this time of year is also rewarding as the game congregates at
the water holes and makes for excellent viewing. The tented camp
was perfect for the environment and once again we would have no
hesitation in visiting the camp. This was most certainly one of
the highlights of the week.
Tsavo West National Park
After the previous three park, this was possibly a little
disappointing due to the vast scale of the park and the
difficulty in spotting animals especially at this time of the
dry season. Althoguh the lodge was ok, it was not as nice as the
other accommodation centres and appears quite dated. I think if
all you experience is Tsavo East or West then that is fine, but
after having been to the other parks it doesn’t live upto
expectation.
Pinewood Village
Finishing off at Pinewood and being able to relax after a long
week on safari was great, and we really enjoyed our stay here.
It was most relaxing and the room was lovely. It was very good
to have our own chef and we would most definitely recommend
staying here. The only downside as we knew to expect were the
‘beach boys’ but they did not enter the hotel grounds so all was
ok.
Transport
The mini bus was surprising comfortable considering the bumpy
roads and George’s driving skills were excellent, so we were
happy in this respect.
Sardius Service
I was very pleased with the service that you provided Felix and
for this I would like to thank you. I decided to book with in
the first place because you were efficient in responding to my
queries and professional with your follow up service. I also
wanted to work with a company from Kenya and your website was
fairly easy to navigate and offered much information. In
hindsight, in terms of the travelling I think we would recommed
some internal flights (even at the additional expense) due to
the long periods of time travelling between the different parks.
Also I would only visit 2 maybe 3 National Parks. This way you
could spend more time on game drives rather than travelling. I’m
sure if you are staying at the beach, then Tsavo is a great
experience, but after some of the other parks Tsavo is
disappointing and I wouldn’t visit that Park again, although I
would visit the others.
Once again I would like to thank you for all your help in
organising our honeymoon, and on a work related issue, should
Rayburn Tours develop trips to Africa for Safari I will most
certainly contact you.
With best wishes to you and your family

Hi Felix,
14 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari
Oct 25th-Nov.8th, 2007
Glad to hear that everything is ok for you over there. I would like to thank you again for this wonderful experience we had on our Safari. I had the time of my life and just want to show my video to the world so they can realize how an amazing experience it is. Everything was perfect and the private safari was just the best thing ever. We could move around the truck as much as we wanted and could see all around us. The guides were nice and experienced and I was really impressed with the “Sopa” and “Sarova” lodges. The “Wildlife lodge” in Tanzania were not as nice though as renovation to the rooms are needed, but the food was great everywhere. The safari was very well organized, thanks to you for that. It was very nice to meet you at our arrival and again before we left to share our experience with you. I must admit I was a bit worry at the beginning booking my Safari through Internet with a company I didn’t know but it turns out I made the right decision, Sardius made our Safari an unforgettable experience. Please don’t hesitate to give my email address to anybody that would like additional information or reference.
Sincerely,Marlène
