days Kenya and Tanzania Luxury Lodge safari to Masai Mara, Lake
Nakuru, Amboseli, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti,Lake Manyara and
Tarangire Park
Day 1: After breakfast
head west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve and check-in at Mara Sopa
lodge. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the
game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including
migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.
Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara
plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is
also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live
within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight
at the Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 2: Morning and
afternoon game drives in the Maasai Mara. Meals and overnight
at the Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 3: After breakfast
proceed northwards to arrive in Lake Nakuru National park in time
for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park where you will have
a chance to visit a unique sanctuary catering for a sizeable number
of the endangered rhinocerous and the Rothschild giraffe.
Waterbucks as well as the predators such as the lion and leopard
are common at the park. Also to be seen is a myriad different
variety of birdlife in and around the lake. Flamingoes are also
plenty at the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 4: After breakfast
leave for Amboseli with lunch enroute. Evening game drive at Amboseli
National Park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of
Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. The snows of the mountain
form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular
spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino,
cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most
sought after photographer's paradise. Dinner and overnight at
Oltukai Lodge.
Day 5.Full day in
this unigue and amazing park in search of lion, elephant, leopard,
rhino, cheetah, buffalo and host of many plains game.Dinner and
overnight at Oltukai Lodge/Amboseli Serena
Day 6: Early breakfast
and leave for a morning game drive before crossing the border
at Namanga and drive to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch. Later
proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and set yourself for game
drive. Ngorongoro Conservation Area's central feature is the Ngorongoro
Crater, one of the largest intact caldera in the world and one
of the most spectacular sights in Africa. The Olduvai Gorge in
the neighbourhood is the site where some of Africa's oldest
hominid fossils were found. The Crater has densest predator
population in Africa. Elephant, lion, zebra, wildebeest and a
host of other resident animals are to be found here. Dinner and
overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 7: Morning and
afternoon game drives at the Crater floor. Meals and overnight
at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 8: After breakfast
leave for vast Serengeti National Park, Africa's most popular
game reserve. There is an incredible number of animals in this
vast game park. Wildebeest is the most populous followed by zebras.
Elephant is notably scarce. Cheetahs and the rest of the big cats
are regularly sighted in the plains. The few remaining endangered
black rhino are restricted at the Moru Koppies area. The park
is also famous for the wildbeeste migration, often described as
the most impressive spectacle in the world. Arrive in time for
lunch. Afternoon proceed for a game drive. Dinner and overnight
Serengeti Wildlife Lodge.
Day 9: Morning and
afternoon game drive drives in the park. Meals and overnight at
the Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 10: Day 3.Tarangire
National Park.
After breakfast at Serengeti, Drive to Tarangire arriving for
lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at
Tarangire Sopa lodge/similar
Day 11: Morning and
afternoon game drive drives in the park. Meals and overnight at
the Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 12: Day 3.Lake
Manyara National Park.After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara
arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive to search for
a variety of wildgame. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara
Hotel/ similar.
Day 13: Morning and
afternoon game drive drives in the park. Meals and overnight at
the Lake Manyara Hotel
Day 14: After breakfast
proceed for an early morning game drive enroute to Arusha town
in time for lunch. Leave early afternoon for Nairobi and
either drop off at the airport or town depending on your flight
schedule.
The price for the above
tour is US$ 2850 per person.Minimum
