Uganda
is one of the few countries in the world where the mountain Gorillas
can be found. It is estimated that only 650 Gorillas are left
world over. Gorilla trekking means walking through the thick forest,
up steep slopes and down through valleys and can be very arduous.

Day 1 Arrive Entebbe
/ Kampala
On arrival , you will be transferred to the hotel and
spend most of the day at leisure and overnight Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 Kampala
Lake Buyonyi
Whole day exploring lake Buyonyi taking with you picnic lunch.
The lake is dotted with small Islands whereby the main Island
was converted to a colony by a Dutch leper until 1969. Dinner
and overnight at the Island camp.
Day 3 Lake Buyonyi /
Bwindi National Park
In the morning you will have a chance to take a canoe or fish
on the lake before embarking on a drive into the mountains to
the famous Bwindi forest. Bwindi means a place of darkness
derived from the thick vegetation of the forest
this almost impenetrable and this is where your tour gets
more excited. Rest off the day at leisure, dinner and overnight
at the Buhoma luxury tented camp.
Day 4 Bwindi National
Park
Full day in the forest searching for the mountain Gorilla
these creature are very magnificent. They move in groups. Enjoy
a picnic lunch before trekking back to camp. Dinner and overnight
at the luxury camp.
Day 5 Bwindi Entebbe
After your exciting forest tour drive back to Entebbe with
lunch en-route . dinner and overnight at an hotel.
Day 6 Entebbe
Depart
Transfer to the airport fro your departure flight.

Day 1 Entebbe
Kampala
On arrival at Entebbe, you will be met and transferred to
Kampala for the night. Dinner and overnight at Sheraton hotel.
Day 2 Kampala
Queen Elizabeth national park
Take a drive across the Equator to Mombasa where you have
your lunch. After lunch continue on to queen Elizabeth national
Park for the night. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 3 Queen Elizabeth
National Park
Before the Queen Elizabeths II visit in 1954 this national
park was originally named Lake George Game reserve in 1925. it
has over 540 bird species and bird watchers will be delighted.
In the morning take a visit to the bird hide on Mweya peninsula
and if lucky you may spot Coromorants, Goliath herous, Sacred
Ibis and fisheagles.In the afternoon take a boat canoe to Kazinga
channel and give a close angle photo view of the abundant Hippos
found in this channel. Dinner
and overnight at Safari Lodge.
Day 4 Queen Elizabeth
National Park / Murchison Falls
Full day drive in the shadows of the mountains of the moon.
Take you to the Murchison Falls National Park. Dinner and overnight
at Sarova Paraa Lodge.
Day 5 Murchison Falls
It comes almost 4,000sq Kms and its the largest and perhaps
the most beautiful park in Uganda. The waters of river Nile from
2 cascading falls about 50 meters. The morning
drive gives you a choice of seeing the Elephant, Buffalo
and possibly Lion. In the afternoon, enjoy a Nile like cruise
for Hippos and crocodiles.
Day 6 Murchison Falls
View the game from the water and this gives you a different
perspective. As you cruise from Paraa to the base of the falls
you will see the Elephant, waterbuck and Buffalo along the banks.
The idea here is to search for the shoebill, this is a large grey
bird and known for its bizarre appearance, crapped with
a desire cat like grin. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner
and overnight at the lodge.
Day 7 Murchison Falls
/ Enetebbe
Drive to the top of the Murchison falls and experience the
full power of the force. Then return to Entebbe where you silent
rest of the day at leisure.
Day 8 Entebbe
Depart
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight having conquered
Uganda as a whole.

RUWENZORI CLIMBING UGANDA
Ruwenzori,
otherwise known as "Mountains of the Moon" has the third
highest peak in Africa. The Rwenzori is part of the national park
of the same name and contains 6 snow-capped peaks. You can hike
this mountain without any special climbing equipment unless you
want to go for the peaks. The mist covered mountain range stretches
for about 100 km.
Camp cooks will prepare
meals and accommodation is in mountain huts or tents.
Day 1: Arrival, pick
and trasfer to a Kampala hotel on all meals
Day 2: Kampala/ Kasese
Breakfast and leave from Kampala to Kasese across the equator
and throughout the Rift Valley to your overnight stop at Kasese.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel Margarita.
Day 3-6: Ruwenzori climbing
Assisted by guides and porters you hike up to one of seven intermediate
stages. There is a great diversity of vegetation, the chance of
spotting some wild animals and breathtaking views. The route chosen
for you will be based on your skills and experience.
Day 7: Rwenzori/Kampala
Return to Kampala via Mbarara passing through small villages with
their Ankole cattle and viewing numerous matoke plantations, arriving
late afternoon.

6 DAYS GORILLA AND CHIMPANZEE SAFARI
This trip starts in Kampala, Uganda and travels south through Uganda
to Rwanda finishing back in Kampala. Guided gorilla trekking Chimpanzee
tracking Lake Bunyonyi Trekking in the Verungu Mountains in the
Parc de Volcans in Rwanda in search of the mountain gorilla is one
of the most memorable experiences that will stay with you forever.
Once found you can sit meters away from these magnificent endangered
creatures. A visit to see the gorillas will help to ensure their
continued survival in their natural habitat.
Day 1 Kampala Departure Point: Bukoto, Blue Mango Hotel, Old Kira
Rd, Kampala. Check In Time: 8:45am Departure Time: 9:30am After
checking into the hotel you head off to the Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
Situated on an island 23kms from Entebbe, the sanctuary is beautifully
forested which provides a safe environment for the orphaned chimpanzee
that now regard this as their home. (L; D)
Day 2 Kibale National Park An early start sees you heading southwest
to Gorilla country. Sir Winston Churchhill named Uganda "The Pearl
of Africa" and never a truer word has been spoken about this beautiful
country. The scenery is green and the people are extremely hospitable.
The landscape varies from fertile green areas to snow covered Ruwenzori
Mountains in the west to semi - desert parts in the north. (B; L;

Day 3 Parc de Volcansin This is an easier day as we cross the Ruwenzoris
and head into Rwanda and check into our hotel. It is situated on
the edge of the Parc de Volcansin the foothills of the volcanoes
of the Virungus. (B; L; D) }
Day 4 Kisoro After a briefing by the park ranger, we head off in
search of these magnificent gentle giants, the mountain gorilla.
Optional Excursion: Gorilla Trek cost from US$250.00 - US$375 per
person. The time taken to trek and find the gorillas can be long
and tiring, although once in their presence the effort is more than
worth it. The mountain gorilla (Gorilla Berengei) is one of our
closest living relatives and it is thought that only about 600 still
exist! Late afternoon sees us cross over into Uganda. The experience
of trekking the gorillas is one of the greatest highlights that

Day 5 Lake Bunyoni A leisurely day sees you make our way to lake
Bunyoni, where you can relax or swim, windsurf, go cray fishing,
whatever takes your fancy from the many amenities there. (B; L;

Day 6 Kampala Heading in a northeasterly direction we make our way
back to Kampala where the trip comes to end. (B) Optional excusion

Park Lake Bunyonyi Semliki National Park Start: Entebbe
Day 1 Kampala You'll be personally met when you arrive Entebbe airport,
and transferred to the newly renovated Nile Serena Hotel in Kampala.
For those arriving earlier, an afternoon excursion can be planned
to the famous tombs of the Kabaka kings.
Day 2 Kibale National Park Leave Kampala after breakfast for the
fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the
Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains.
Afternoon guided walk in the lakes area of the park for outstanding
birds and primates. Meals and overnight at Mantana's Camp.
Day 3 Kibale National Park, Semliki Reserve Early morning trek for
chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps,
a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive to
the Congo border right under the Ruwenzori Mountains, into the Semuliki
National Park jungles. Dinner and overnight at Semuliki Safari Lodge.
Day 4 Semliki Reserve Two full days in the closest habitat available
in East Africa to true central African jungle. The new Semuliki
National Park is a lowland, dense forest, with exotic primates,
hundreds of bird species and good mammals as well. Its location
on the shore of Lake Albert provide excellent shoreline game viewing.
Meals and accommodations at the luxurious Semuliki Safari Lodge.
Few tourists get into this incredibly beautiful area!
Day 5 Semliki Reserve, Queen Elizabeth National Park This morning
drive south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and
game viewing enroute. Dinner and overnight at spectacular Mweya
Lodge perched right on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the
Ugandan Great Lakes.
Day 6 Queen Elizabeth National Park Dawn game drive in Uganda's
best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous
for elephant and kob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant
forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After
lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects
Lakes Albert and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo.
Meals and overnight at Mweya Lodge.
Day 7 Lake Bunyoni Today's drive is through what is probably East
Africa's most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests which
reach to the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. This
is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates
and exotic birds. The afternoon is spent on a foot safari around
the magnificent crater lake, Bunyonyi. Meals and overnight in our
Bushara Island Camp.
Day 8 Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, today, with private rooms
at the Lake Victoria Hotel before your evening departures home.
